Gaining and maintaining sponsorship
A key starting point for you is to determine what can you offer a sponsor
Every sponsor is different, and has different needs, objectives and levels
of expectations. These must be carefully managed. They may want any or all
of the following:
- Visibility, exposure at events/competitions
- Access to events - invites to games, end of season events.
- Use of players as an endorser of their product/service or to make
appearances, for advertising, etc
- Community links, i.e. show they are involved in their local area
